SAO PAULO, May 6 (Reuters) - Meatpackers have fully or
partially halted operations at 10 pork or poultry plants in
southern Brazil, lobby group ABPA said on Monday, as heavy rains
have caused floods and landslides in the region, killing more
than 80 people.
ABPA said in a statement the affected plants have been
struggling to process raw material and to transport employees to
the factories.
