Like rest of the economy, the media and entertainment sector is experiencing a shock from the ongoing coronavirus crisis. To discuss this, Anuradha Sengupta spoke to Karan Johar.

A population of over a billion people locked down, deserted cities, a deadly virus, crippling uncertainty, multiple stories of suffering, solidarity and hope. This could have been the material for a film or a TV or an OTT show, but this is a reality now.

Dharma productions has several films in the can, which are in various stages of pre and post production and like the rest of the industry, the company has suspended all administrative and production work until further notice.
