MediaAlpha Closes $144.2 Million Secondary Offering

09:30 AM EDT, 05/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MediaAlpha ( MAX ) announced Friday the closing of a secondary offering of nearly 7.6 million class A common shares previously owned by affiliates of White Mountains Insurance Group ( WTM ) and Insignia Capital Group at $19 apiece, generating $144.2 million in gross proceeds for the selling shareholders.

Underwriters for the deal exercised their overallotment option to buy an extra 990,000 shares, the company said, adding it did not receive any proceeds from the stock sale.

Price: 19.88, Change: -0.30, Percent Change: -1.49
