10:12 AM EST, 11/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mediaco Holding ( MDIA ) said Tuesday it has made a full $7.3 million repayment of the convertible promissory note held by Emmis Communications.

In connection with the repayment, Emmis' representatives have resigned from Mediaco's ( MDIA ) board, the media company added.

Mediaco's ( MDIA ) shares rose nearly 22% in recent trading.
