Medical Facilities Sells Black Hills Surgical Hospital in South Dakota For US$194 Million

08:55 AM EST, 11/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Medical Facilities ( MFCSF ) on Thursday said it is selling Black Hills Surgical Hospital in South Dakota to Sanford Health for US$194 million.

"The sale of Black Hills Surgical Hospital will be effected at a material premium to current trading levels and unlock significant value for Medical Facilities' ( MFCSF ) shareholders," said Jason Redman, President and CEO. "This transaction aligns with our strategic direction, allowing us to better focus on our remaining core assets, and continue delivering high-quality healthcare services in our key markets."

DR was up $0.08 at $15.07 on the TSX yesterday.
