08:03 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Medicus Pharma ( MDCX ) said Friday the Abu Dhabi Department of Health approved the start of a phase 2 trial evaluating its experimental drug, Teverelix, in women with moderate-to-severe symptomatic endometriosis.

The company said the approval follows the regulator's review of the drug's manufacturing, preclinical, clinical and safety data.

The study will enroll 84 women at multiple sites across the UAE to evaluate Teverelix's safety, effectiveness and biological activity, the company said.
