11:23 AM EDT, 06/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Medtronic ( MDT ) has completed its acquisition of privately held medical device company Scientia Vascular in a $550 million deal, plus potential milestone payments, the company said Friday.

The deal strengthens its neurovascular business by integrating Scientia's guidewires and catheters with its existing portfolio to support the full procedural workflow, the company said.

The company added the deal is expected to be minimally dilutive to adjusted earnings per share in fiscal 2027 and accretive thereafter.
