Medtronic Says MiniMed 780G Insulin Pump Received European CE Mark for Expanded Use

09:41 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Medtronic ( MDT ) said Monday it has received the CE Mark for expanded use of its MiniMed 780G insulin pump system in Europe.

The updated approval allows the insulin pump to be used by children as young as two years, pregnant women, and people with type 2 diabetes, the company said.

Clinical data from multiple studies supported the expansion, Medtronic ( MDT ) said.

The company also said it has submitted the device for US Food and Drug Administration review for similar uses in the US.
