Medtronic's New Diabetes Company to Be Named MiniMed

09:37 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Medtronic ( MDT ) said Thursday that it will name its new diabetes company MiniMed after completing the previously announced separation of the business.

The company announced its plan to separate its diabetes business into a standalone company in May and expects to complete this transaction within 18 months of the announcement.
