08:35 AM EST, 02/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Medtronic ( MDT ) said Friday US Food and Drug Administration has cleared its Stealth AXiS surgical system, a platform that integrates planning, navigation, and robotics into a single system for spine procedures.

The company said the system is cleared for use in US spine surgeries and is designed to support a wide range of surgical preferences and complexity across hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.

Its underlying architecture also aims to support future applications in cranial and ENT procedures, pending regulatory clearance, it added.
