06:01 AM EDT, 07/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MEG Energy ( MEGEF ) late on Sunday said its production at the Christina Lake Regional Project has remained stable amid ongoing wildfires.

The company said it continues to operate at a reduced and essential workforce for safety reasons.

MEG has implemented emergency response measures and continues to monitor the wildfire situation. It is in regular contact with Alberta Forestry and Parks and local authorities to ensure coordinated efforts, the company said.
