01:52 PM EDT, 08/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mega Matrix ( MPU ) shares were down about 7% in recent Friday trading after the company agreed to sell shares and warrants to raise about $1.5 million for working capital and general purposes.

The firm said it will sell 681,818 shares, short-term series A warrants to buy up to 681,818 shares and series B warrants to buy up to the same number of shares at $2.20 per share and accompanying warrants.

It expects to close the placement Monday, with H.C. Wainwright as the placement agent.
