MercadoLibre, Casas Bahia Reportedly Form Partnership for E-Commerce Push in Brazil

11:56 AM EDT, 10/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MercadoLibre ( MELI ) entered into a long-term partnership with Grupo Casas Bahia to sell the Brazilian retailer's products on its e-commerce platform starting in November, multiple media outlets reported Thursday.

The partnership will help boost MercadoLibre's ( MELI ) market share in Brazil in Casas Bahia's core segments of electronics and household appliances, with Casas Bahia handling most of the shipping logistics, Reuters reported, citing executives from both companies.

Uruguay-based MercadoLibre ( MELI ) and Casas Bahia did not immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
