Merck Gets Keytruda Combination Approval for Cervical Cancer in Canada

11:40 AM EDT, 07/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Merck ( MRK ) said Monday that Health Canada has approved Keytruda in combination with chemoradiotherapy to treat adult patients with FIGO 2014 Stage III-IVA cervical cancer.

FIGO refers to International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics.

The drugmaker said the approval followed a statistically significant improvement in overall survival and progression-free survival in patients with Stage III-IVa in a late-stage trial.
