10:02 AM EDT, 07/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mercury Systems ( MRCY ) said Wednesday it has received a $13.2 million contract from the US Navy to enhance sensor processing technologies and enable faster development of radar and electronic warfare capabilities.

Under the contract, Mercury said it will develop a next-generation RF System-in-Package using the latest commercial chips from major semiconductor providers in a smaller, lighter design.
