10:09 AM EDT, 03/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Mercury Mission Systems International (MRCY) said Thursday is collaborating with Lockheed Martin (LMT) to promote the production of defense technologies in Switzerland.

Under the first two engineering development agreements, Mercury said it will begin manufacturing several embedded computing technologies at its production facility in Geneva.

The project is a direct result of the offset program between Lockheed Martin and the Swiss government as part of Switzerland's purchase of F-35 Lightning II combat jets, Mercury said.

Mercury shares were 1.3% higher in recent trading, while Lockheed Martin was ahead 0.4%.
