12:20 PM EDT, 03/19/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Merit Medical Systems ( MMSI ) launched Tuesday its Micro ACE advanced micro-access system in the US for use in interventional procedures to open narrowed blood vessels.

The device, which has been cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration, is part of the company's Merit Vascular portfolio, according to Merit Medical ( MMSI ).

The company said it will also seek a CE mark designation for the product in the European Union.
