Merit Medical Systems Reports Resignation of President

04:34 PM EST, 12/16/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Merit Medical Systems ( MMSI ) said Monday that Joseph Wright will resign as president of the company, effective Jan. 3.

Merit said it received notice of allegations over Wright's conduct prior to his resignation. The firm said its independent directors investigated with the assistance of independent counsel.

The allegations were unrelated to its operations or financial performance, it added.

Fred Lampropoulos has been re-appointed as president, the company said.
