06:11 AM EDT, 08/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) has formed a partnership with Midjourney to license the latter's "aesthetic" technology for future models and products, Meta Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer Alexandr Wang said in a Friday post on social media platform X.

"We remain an independent, community-backed research lab, with no investors, working on a staggering array of ambitious projects focused on bringing about humane futures where we are all mid-journey," Midjourney founder David Holz said in an X post replying to Wang.
