Meta, Google Reportedly Found Liable in Social Media Addiction Trial

01:43 PM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) and Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google ( GOOG ) were found liable by a jury for a 20-year-old woman's alleged addiction to their social media platforms, multiple news outlets reported Wednesday.

Meta and Google ( GOOG ) didn't immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
