A tweet by Income Tax department said the portal has not been available since Saturday. Infosys India Business, which is the Twitter handle of Infosys India Business unit, in a tweet on Sunday evening said, "The emergency maintenance of the @IncomeTaxIndia portal has concluded and the portal is live. We regret any inconvenience caused to taxpayers."

The government wants to make India a data center hub and it is working on an incentive policy that could draw investment of about Rs 3 lakh crore, according to reports. JLL has estimated that India’s data center capacity could double to over 1,000 megawatts by 2023.

Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has decided to drop ‘Mi’ branding as part of its restructuring. Launched in 2011, ‘Mi’ (stands for “mobile internet and mission impossible”) will now brand all their products as “Xiaomi”, as per a report by XDA.
