09:06 AM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) said Thursday it is launching a new Friends tab on Facebook that will display only the latest content from users' friends instead of showing any recommended content.

The social media company said the feature is rolling out in the US and Canada and will include friends' stories, reels, posts, and birthdays.

Meta said this update is the first of several planned changes aimed at restoring features from the early days of Facebook.
