Analysts polled by FactSet expected $6.76.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $48.39 billion, up from $40.11 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $46.99 billion.

The company said it expects Q1 revenue between $39.5 billion and $41.8 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $41.68 billion.

Shares of the company rose 2.1% in recent after-hours activity.
