07:38 AM EDT, 06/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) has signed four agreements with Invenergy for 791 megawatts of solar and wind energy, the companies said Thursday.

The deals will provide near-term energy to support the social-media giant's operations, data center growth, and clean energy targets, the companies said.

The electricity will be delivered to the local grid, while Meta will receive the clean energy credits tied to the new generation capacity coming online, Meta and Invenergy said.
