11:13 AM EDT, 10/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) said Tuesday it will expand manufacturing of its Quest 3S mixed-reality device to Vietnam starting next year.

The expansion is slated to create up to 1,000 jobs in the country, Meta said.

The Facebook and Instagram parent also said it will soon start testing Meta AI in Vietnamese.

Business AI for Messenger will fully launch by the end of 2024 after being in testing since June, Meta said.
