07:18 AM EDT, 06/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) has hired four artificial intelligence researchers from OpenAI to join its Superintelligence group led by Alexandr Wang, Bloomberg and The Information reported Saturday, citing unnamed sources.

The new hires include Jiahui Yu, head of OpenAI's Perception team, and researchers Shuchao Bi, Shengjia Zhao, and Hongyu Ren, according to Bloomberg.

Meta did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
