06:37 AM EDT, 08/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) has selected Pacific Investment Management, or PIMCO, and Blue Owl Capital (OWL) to lead a $29 billion financing for its data center expansion project in Louisiana, news outlets reported Thursday, citing sources familiar with the matter.

PIMCO will lead a potential $26 billion debt portion, while Blue Owl will contribute $3 billion in equity, according to the reports.

Meta, PIMCO, and Blue Owl didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
