03:20 PM EDT, 06/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Meta Platforms ( META ) will be testing artificial intelligence chatbots made through the use of Meta AI studio on Instagram in the coming weeks, Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said Thursday.

The social media giant will roll out an early test in the US, Zuckerberg said in a post on Instagram.

"These will primarily show up in messaging for now, and will be clearly labelled as AI, he said.

In a statement to MT Newswires, a Meta spokesperson said a range of AIs made using Meta's platform are going to be tested publicly.
