Methanex Obtains All Required Regulatory Approvals for Acquisition of OCI Global's International Methanol Business

08:37 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Methanex ( MEOH ) said Thursday it has obtained all required regulatory approvals for the proposed takeover of OCI Global's international methanol business.

The deal will likely close June 27, Methanex ( MEOH ) said.

The takeover agreement was first announced in September, under which the company agreed to acquire the international methanol business for $2.05 billion.
