05:19 PM EDT, 06/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Methanex ( MEOH ) said Tuesday its 1.26 million metric ton methanol production facility in Egypt shut temporarily after gas to industrial plants was curtailed due to lower supply and increased demand.

The company said it is working closely with its partner and supplier to resume gas supply.
