04:31 PM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Metro (MRU.TO) after close Monday said chief financial officer Francois Thibault will retire in the spring after more than 12 years with the grocery chain.
Thibault will continue as CFOe until his retirement, providing the company time to identify a successor through an external search.
"I am grateful to Francois for his strong leadership and partnership over the last 12 years and thank him for his significant contribution to our success," said Chief Executive Eric La Fleche.
The company's shares closed down $0.80 to $83.96 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
