Metropolitan Bank Declares Initial Dividend; Approves $50 Million Share Buyback Plan

01:54 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Metropolitan Bank (MCB) said Thursday its board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share, its first since the initial public offering in 2017. It is payable Aug. 11 to holders of record on July 28.

The company's board also authorized a new share repurchase program to buy up to $50 million shares, the company said.

The company's shares, which were halted earlier, are up 1.7% in recent trading.
