MEXICO CITY, Sept 10 (Reuters) - Mexican conglomerate
Alfa said on Tuesday that it plans to pay off $500 million in
debt with a capital increase and also a cash dividend from its
chemical subsidiary Alpek.
The firm will propose a $400 million capital injection to
shareholders at a meeting later this month, Alfa said in a
statement. The additional $100 million will come from an Alpek
dividend.
