Mexican president promises Pemex will pay suppliers

MEXICO CITY, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Mexican state oil

company Pemex will make debt payments to suppliers in parts this

month, in January and February, President Claudia Sheinbaum said

on Monday, without specifying the amounts.

"Part of the amount will be paid now in December, part in

January and part in February," Sheinbaum said in her regular

morning press conference, promising that every supplier who is

owed money by Pemex will be paid.
