MEXICO CITY, Aug 5 (Reuters) - Mexican President Claudia
Sheinbaum on Tuesday said the country's highly-indebted state
oil company Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) will not need the
finance ministry's support beginning in 2027.
In Sheinbaum's morning news conference, Mexican Finance
Minister Edgar Amador said the government is aiming for Pemex to
finance its own operating expenses by 2027, and that it aims to
bring the company's debt down to $77.3 billion by 2030.
