MEXICO CITY, July 22 (Reuters) - Mexican restaurant and
cafe chain operator Alsea on Tuesday posted an
eightfold leap in its second-quarter net profit, coming to 1.13
billion pesos ($60.22 million).
The Mexican multinational, which operates high-profile
restaurant chains like Domino's Pizza and Starbucks in Europe
and Latin America, reported revenues up around 11% in the April
to June period, landing at 21.47 billion pesos.
Analysts polled by LSEG expected a second-quarter net profit
of 615.74 million pesos, from revenues of 21.38 billion pesos.
