MEXICO CITY, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Mexico's Alpek will hold
an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on Nov. 25 to vote on the
proposed merger with its parent company, Controladora Alpek, the
company said in a filing on Wednesday.
* The meeting is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. local time (1800
GMT) on
November 25, Alpek said in a statement.
* Shareholders must register their shares through
their
custodian to be eligible to vote.
* The company requires a 75% quorum of shareholders
to
convene the meeting.
* Alpek said it expects the transaction to benefit
all
shareholders and boost long-term value.
