Mexico's Arca Continental Q2 core profit ticks up

July 18 (Reuters) - Mexican bottler Arca Continental

on Thursday posted a second-quarter core profit that

rose 7.5% to 12.17 billion pesos($665.52 million), landing

slightly below the 12.04 billion pesos forecast by analysts

polled by LSEG.

Arca, which sells bottled water, soft drinks and snacks

across the Americas, reported a net profit up 15.2% to 5.40

billion pesos.

($1 = 18.2862 pesos at end-June)
