Mexico's Banorte posts 9% profit drop in Q3

MEXICO CITY, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Mexico's Grupo Financiero

Banorte reported a 9% drop in its third-quarter

net profit from the year-ago period on Tuesday, hitting 13.01

billion pesos ($710 million).

Revenues for the lender totaled 40.86 billion pesos in the

quarter, up 11% from a year earlier.

($1 = 18.3147 Mexican pesos at end-September)
