Mexico's FibraShop becomes latest real estate trust to remove CIBanco as trustee
Jul 1, 2025 3:47 PM

MEXICO CITY, July 1 (Reuters) - Mexican real estate

trust FibraShop said on Tuesday it had started the process of

removing CIBanco as a trustee, after U.S. sanctions over money

laundering accusations caused Mexican authorities to step in to

manage the bank last week.

Last week, other real estate trusts including Terrafina and

Fibra Inn, also announced they were removing CIBanco as a

trustee.

CIBanco has denied the money laundering allegations.
