05:05 PM EDT, 04/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- MFA Financial ( MFA/PB ) said late Monday it priced an underwritten public offering of $75 million of 9.0% senior notes due 2029.

Underwriters, including Morgan Stanley and RBC Capital Markets, have the option to purchase up to an additional $11.25 million of notes, the company added. It expects to close the offering April 17.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including investments in additional residential mortgage-related assets, and for working capital, the company said.
