11:48 AM EST, 02/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Miata Metals ( MMETF ) was last seen up 9.5% after the company on Tuesday said a grab sample taken from the Sela Creek Gold Project in Suriname yielded results of up to 194.2 grams per tonne of gold in a newly opened extension of the Puma target.
"The first results of 2025 from our ongoing ground exploration program are another milestone for the company, as we begin operating from our year-round camp at Sela Creek," said Jaap Verbaas, chief executive of Miata.
All drill equipment is now at Sela Creek and drilling is expected to begin this month, with a goal of 10,000 meters in 2025.
Miata Metals ( MMETF ) was last seen up $0.09 to $1.04 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
