08:00 AM EDT, 10/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microbix Biosystems ( MBXBF ) on Monday said it is presenting a poster highlighting the results of a novel Quality Assessment Product (QAP) for patient diagnosis and tissue analysis relating to infection with the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV) at the European Meeting on Molecular Diagnostics in The Netherlands, this week.

According to Mirobix, it is estimated that over half of people worldwide are chronically infected with a strain of the HSV. More widespread diagnosis and detailed analysis of infected tissues may help prevent the more serious health consequences that can result from HSV infections.
