10:56 AM EDT, 03/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Microchip Technology ( MCHP ) said Tuesday it has developed new CEC1736 TrustFLEX devices that can support security features required to enable hardware root of trust across various markets.

The devices are specifically designed to meet National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-193 platform resiliency guidelines, as well as Open Compute Project requirements, the company said.
