08:48 AM EST, 03/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microchip Technology ( MCHP ) is reducing its headcount by roughly 2,000 employees across various units and support groups, the company said in a regulatory filing Monday.

The company said it expects the job cuts to be fully implemented by the end of the June quarter.

Microchip said its previously announced closure of manufacturing operations at its Tempe, Arizona, wafer fabrication facility will be complete in May, several months earlier than previously expected.
