MicroCloud Hologram Acquires Up to $200 Million in Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency-Related Derivatives

12:10 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- MicroCloud Hologram ( HOLO ) said Thursday that it has purchased up to $200 million in bitcoin (BTC-USD) and cryptocurrency-related securities derivatives, with a cumulative investment income of about $34.7 million as of the same day.

The company said the purchases are part of its strategy of exploring the cryptocurrency market for future business expansion and capital operations in the sector.

MicroCloud Hologram ( HOLO ) said it currently has $394 million in cash reserves and that it plans to allocate the reserves for technology developments such as bitcoin-related blockchain, quantum computing and holography and AI-powered augmented reality.

Shares of MicroCloud Hologram ( HOLO ) were up more than 3% in recent Thursday trading.
