Micron Technology Launches New Solid-State Drive for Handheld Gaming

10:01 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Micron Technology ( MU ) said Wednesday it has launched its Crucial P310 2230 Gen4 NVMe solid-state drive or SSD, which is ideal for handheld gaming and storing data-intensive content in mini PCs and ultrathin laptops.

This SSD has a storage of up to 2 terabytes and read and write speeds of 7,100 megabytes per second and 6,000 megabytes per second, respectively, the company said.

Micron Technology ( MU ) said the SSD is currently available through the Crucial website and select retailers.

Shares of the company fell nearly 4% in recent trading.
