05:13 AM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Micron Technology ( MU ) said Tuesday that it has started sampling its GDDR7 graphics memory, designed to deliver a higher bandwidth for applications such as gaming, artificial intelligence, and high-performance computing workloads.

The company said its GDDR7 graphics memory is expected to enable smoother game play, faster response and processing times, and improved battery life, among others. Micron Technology ( MU ) said GDDR7 memory will be commercially available in H2 of 2024.
