Bubeck's new role in OpenAI remains unknown, the reports said.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) has confirmed Bubeck's departure from the company, Reuters reported, citing a spokesperson for the software giant.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) and OpenAI did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comments.
