Microsoft Fiscal Q3 Earnings, Revenue Increase; Shares Rise After Hours

04:13 PM EDT, 04/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) reported fiscal Q3 earnings late Wednesday of $3.46 per diluted share, compared with $2.94 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $3.22.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $70.07 billion, compared with $61.86 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $68.44 billion.

Shares of the technology company were 6% higher in Wednesday's after-hours activity.
